How to Create a Free Online Wedding Invitation with RSVP

1 August 2026 · 4 min read

Paper wedding invitations are expensive, slow to deliver, and impossible to update after printing. A digital wedding invitation sent on WhatsApp solves all three — and when it includes a built-in RSVP page, you get a live guest list without chasing a single reply. Here's how to make yours.

What a digital wedding invitation needs

A good invitation does three things clearly: tells guests what the occasion is, when and where to be, and makes it easy to say yes. Everything else — the photo, the font, the colour — is dressing. Get those three right first.

Step 1: Describe your wedding details

Open Laruzha's Flyer Studio and create a new flyer. Choose "Event" as the content type and enter:

  • Your names and the occasion ("Wedding of Amara & James")
  • Date, time, and venue
  • Any key note (dress code, parking, "adults only", etc.)

The AI writes a clean headline and the key details in a layout suited to formal events — classic, elegant or festive, depending on the background style you pick.

Step 2: Upload your photo (optional but recommended)

A photo of the couple or the venue makes the invitation feel personal rather than generic. Upload it and the AI uses it as a reference to generate a matching background — keeping your colours and feel while creating something polished.

Step 3: Switch on RSVP

Flip the RSVP toggle in the flyer settings. This creates a hosted invitation page where guests can:

  • Accept or decline with one tap
  • Add a message or note (dietary requirements, etc.)
  • See how many people are attending (if you enable the public count)

You get a live dashboard showing total responses, attending count, and a CSV export for your caterer or venue.

Step 4: Share on WhatsApp and Instagram

Every invitation has a shareable link that previews beautifully in WhatsApp messages, iMessage and email — guests see the design before they even tap. Copy the link and:

  • Paste it into your WhatsApp group
  • Add it to your Instagram Stories as a link sticker
  • Include it in email for guests who prefer that

You can also export the design as a print-ready PDF for mailing to older relatives, or export an animated video version for WhatsApp Status.

Step 5: Track responses and stay in control

As guests respond, your list updates in real time. You can set a maximum capacity — the page shows spots remaining and stops accepting responses once full. No spreadsheet, no back-and-forth messages.

Tips for the design

  • Keep the headline to your names only — "Amara & James" or "A & J" — let the details do the explaining below.
  • Elegant and Festive background styles work best for weddings; Photographic works beautifully if you have a good couple photo.
  • The QR code is optional but useful if you're printing order-of-service cards or place settings — guests scan to reach the RSVP page or your wedding website.
